Yes i would very much love a standard GBPVR codec pack. I'm pretty sure it would reduce a fair number of codec probs as well.
And if you can get EVR working in XP with hardware acceleration I would be over joyed.

DXVA + EVR on XP is not possible, this is XP limitation. But VMR9 + DXVA works preaty good, no need to use EVR at all under XP.

The only reason i use Vista is for the hardware accelreted EVR playback. The picture quality is excellent no hudder at all. It also means I can watch BBC HD stutter free using my ATI 4350 rather than my somewhat weak 2gighz pentium m.

Having said all that I am getting a bits tits off with all the bells and whistles that I don't need and care nothing off with vista.

I have lot of trouble using Vista.
Personely i didn't notice any diference comparing VMR9 VS EVR.
I am using XP SP3 for my HTPC and i am very happy with it.

Again - this is my personal experience.

I'd love to see a codec pack. I was just reading about your pack the other day while trying to solve my playback issues.

SAF for GB-PVR is availabe to test

    OK Guys.

Here is my first try to bring SAF to GB-PVR users.
Here is new SAF version 3.49 beta10 with GB-PVR support: http://hobring.esero.net/saf/binary/saf349beta10.exe

When installing, you will see MP is not instaled, just click to continue.

There are same rules for GB-PVR like with MP:

Uninstall all useless codec packs, players, nero, PowerDVD, etc..., before installing SAF.

After SAF is instaled, configure your GB-PVR codec setup to use default system settings.

You can found lot of information on official SAF thred: http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/co...-vc-1-a-44614/

How to get "CLVsd.ax", what is DXVA and what is necessary to make it working.

    Enjoy!
