I thought I would let everyone know about a problem I found. I had problems trying to get my PVR 150 IR blaster to operate my cable box (Scientific Atlanta Explorer 2200) even though it was listed as supported. The blaster flashed out codes, but the box could not pick them up, even when moving the blaster all over the plastic window on the cable box. I eventually took off the cover from the cable box and if I put the blaster directly on top of the eye, it would work. I phoned Hauppauge support and they told me that some of the blasters were defective and they sent me another one. I just tried it and it works great, even with the window on the box.
So if you are having problems, don't assume that the blaster is working just because it is blinking.
