Hi,

One of my friends has just got an Avermedia AverTV USB MCE device (PAL)
http://www.aver.com/2005home/product/tvt...spec.shtml

Its an analog tuner with a hardware MPEG-2 convertor, and has a BDA driver.

I've got a fair idea about how to try and build a BDA entry for a DVB-T device, but I'm not sure if it's even possible to support this device in GB-PVR.

What do you use for TUNING_TYPE for example ?

Any help appreciated

Thanks
Hayden
If it's digital side has BDA drivers, then it should work find with the addition of a new section in BDA.ini.

If the analog side has a hardware MPEG2 encoder, then it might work (if connections are similiar to ATI or Hauppauge or LSI Explorer cards), but would require a section to be added to direct.ini.

TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T (bda.ini only applies to the digital side of this device.
Sub,

I've created a new device section for direct.ini

Cheers. I'll add it to the master list.
Has any one used the AVerTV Purity 3D MCE 500 or the AVerTV MCE Media Expansion Card a PCI-E x16 Card I like the latter of ths two since it has all the video out you will ever need.
