Hi,

I've installed an Nova-t 500 and can make recordings in the Microsoft format. They play back fine on the PC but on the MPV I get a black screen (no sound) then after 10 seconds it returns to the menu.

On the Pc I see a DOS box pop up briefly saying FindFilterByName Cyberlink Mux failed.

Cyberlink PowerDVD 7 is installed but the BDA mux checker says no multiplexer filters installed.

Am I missing something?:confused:

You'd need to install the Cyberlink mux. It does not come with PowerDVD.

If you do a forum search, you'll find several recent threads discussing where to get this mux filter.

Thanks for your help. I should have remembered this from my last rebuild 18 months ago. Even found the mux file in an old archive directory on my system! (forgetfullness.....must be old age setting in).
