I use the nova-t usb2 and the supplied remote without any issues. Some people have reported issues with certain chipsets and this card, but to be truthful it's a bit hit and miss with some chipsets and usb. If it helps my chipset is a KM400, also I have usb nova-t stick (no remote with this) on a Uli chip without issues.

This one works great... eh... by the way, when you say freeview, are we talking dvb-t? Because then it works great. If you're talking america and atsc, I have no clue.

Yes, definitely. Then the device we suggested is right for you Has a remote and all. Works well.
DVB is the digital system used in big parts of the world (not America). The -t/s/c part after is "terrestrial"/"satellite"/"cable". In america they use a completely different standard.

Just gotta sell my PVR-USB2 first, bought it without realising it didn't have a freeview decoder in it
In case you know anyone... ;-)
