Is the Celeron D Processor 356 ample processing power to use gbpvr? For standard def? Hi-def?
Fine for standard def, might struggle with HD - depends how much oomph your video card has. See sig.

I'm curious about HD too after looking at a super-cheap bundle with this processor.

Besides the GPU, the motherboard and its chipset probably have more to do with it huh?
if you have not purchased yet you may want to look at the amd 64 x2 chip. it will cost a little more but i think you will be more plesed with the results. just ordered new parts for my new dvr and am using the amd 64 x2 4600+(65w).
