Is there any support for this Expresscard Analog TV tuner ? If not, I would like to request that it be added.

I have the same device.

It is the Yuan EC680 Analog TV Tuner.

I'm pretty sure this device doesnt have the required hardware MPEG2 encoder, so isnt usable in GB-PVR. Sorry.

Boy am I ever a rookie.

I saw where some one posted their filtercheck log and you were able to give him the data to add to the bda.ini file. I ran the filter check and it comes back listing MPEG2 transports, so I'm pretty sure this one will work.
We are being forced to go totaly digital cable by our local cable company ( comcast ) cnad I wanted to try this software. if it works well for the wife to record and view remotly, I'll replace mt tuner card with one that use's cable card's to decode and just be done with it.

this isn't where it should say it's mpeg2 ??

do you know of a card that has cable card support in it that will work??

CableCARDs currently ONLY work with Windows Media Center. One day commercial third-party software may work with CableCARDs too, the ones that can afford to pay CableLabs for a license (TiVo, SnapStream BeyondTV, Sage). If CableCARDs ever work with free software like GB-PVR, it will take a very clever set of hackers to pull it off.

As to your card, the digital side will *probably* work with the following BDA.INI entries:
