Changes from v4.2 include
* Fixed bug when using multiple cinemas with the IMDB.com source.
* Can now view all show times even if no extra info is available on the film.

ok, so its a bit better when updating from IMDB, but its still a bit buggy, seems as though you are emptying the lists of showtimes, but not the list of movies.

and BTW dont worry about speed, if I really cared about the listings I got I would switch to zap2it, I am basically just using IMDB to help you work out the bugs in it.

I bet, I am pretty good at writing text parsing stuff, but it is still extremely annoying. I hope you can at least use something that takes advantage of regular expressions.
I will try to remember to give that version a shot tonight when I get home.

Umm...what are regular expressions?
DOH! Reckon that would have been useful. The source scrapers are fairly lightweight - just telling it what to look for really. I wrote the HTML parser ages ago (back in the days of UK Cinema Listings).

yeah I find regex to be extremely useful, also helped me gain an understanding of parsing text so when I was taking a class where I had to write a char driver in linux I was one of the only ones who's command parsing actually worked correctly
but I had to do it without regex
