I recently purchased the 250, and my computer has 512MB Ram and a 800MHZ AMD processor, and will be used exclusively for PVR. Can I use the vid out on the 250, or do I need to have a Xcard with vid out?

There is no video out on the PVR250, so you'd either need to use a video card or xcard.
