I just got my media mvp -- and so far as far as I've gotten is the main menu of the gbpvr interface -- if I try to view live tv or recorded programmes it throws a .net exception on the server. and then I can't reconnect to the gbpvr menu until I reboot the gbpvr server.

so, for now I'm banished to the media mvp "stock" software -- so at least I can play recordings through it.

Any help?

p.s. is there any documentation on how I am supposed to setup the mvp to work with gbpvr ?

I think from your symptoms, and comment about 'stock software, that you're still running the original Hauppauge software. Hauppauge changed the underlying protocol around v2.0 of the software, so GB-PVR is built around this new (current) protocol. Try downloading and installing ftp://ftp.shspvr.com/download/mediamvp/m...22229.exe.
