Two things:

Version 0.64 is available now. Wiki page has 0.62 available for download. Can get it from here.

It states to unziip the two files into the gbpvr directory. However there are 3 files now. comskip.dictionary (apparently for use with closed captioning detection method).

The wiki is very useful!
Thanks for the link, I've uploaded the latest version.

Is it correct that GB-PVR is supposed to start comskip automatically when a recording is done?
Is this configurable in any way (e.g. skip it on some comercial-free channels/sources)?

Is there a way to start it manually via custom task from GB-PVR?
A problem I see is how to tell which file to run on. But reading at http://www.bladerhq.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.ph...figPlugins there is mentioning of passing the channel as "{channel}" . Is this still valid to the current version of GB-PVR?

As you probably can tell, I'm rather new to comskip, just tried it manually, and that worked great.

Yes

Not at this stage.

No not really. You need to be able to pass the name of a video file to process as an argument.

No, that actually applied to something else. You used to be able press the red button in the tv guide and it would start an external program passing the channel number as {channel}. This is no longer relevent.
