Hi All,

In case there are still any NZ users without a DVB-S card who are looking for a decent EPG source, I have found the following to be quite reliable:

1) Add the following as your UpdateEPG.bat file in your gbpvr folder:

del listings.xml.gz
wget http://epg.pvr.geek.nz/epg/listings.xml.gz
del listings.xml
7z e listings.xml.gz
ren listings-* listings.xml

2) You will need programs wget and 7z which are downloadable from the web. Wget graps files of the internet and 7z is an unzipper with a decent command line interface.

3) In your gbpvr config app, under your capture source, set the EPG update to run at some time after 3am which is when the EPG file is updated.

I have only one problem so far, and that is that I get double-ups on tv1 and tv2 - two programs at the same time, and the gbpvr program guide superimposes them on each other.
I use revens xmltvnz

http://www.reven.co.nz
from memory anyways, basically point the config to the place where xmltvnz puts the file and gbpvr does the rest
So you are using the V3 version? I decided not to go down that route on the basis that it was a mandatory financial purchase and I'm a tight-ass.
Yes I am using v3, I donated $15 as I have been using it for about 3 ears and paying $5 a year for the support and working programme seemed less than appropriate, and he will be getting some more, as I will also be donating to gbpvr.

V3 is very stable and plays nicely with gbpvr so meets all my needs

I agree with Captcol there - reven & sub are worthy causes
Another in agreement. The small donation to Reven was money well spent. However, everyone to their own.
I can highly recommend djkxml (http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utility/Djkxml). I've been using it for a few months now and find it to be very good. The guy who writes it is also very good at keeping it up to date.
