So Hauppauge has their new version of the 950 out that does QAM. ( http://www.hauppauge.com/site/products/d...r950q.html ) I am not interested in analogue so only need the digital tuner, but it must be QAM, and this one fits the bill.

Will it work with GBPVR. Its a bit pricy does anyone know of a USB QAM device that is cheaper and works with GBPVR?

The KWorld ATSC 340U seems to be an inexpensive alternative. I'm just not sure if it works with GB-PVR.

Unfortunately I have tried that one and searching the forums indicate the QAM feature is not supported in GBPVR, only OAT ATSC

ah, pretty sure someone did get the qam going on the kworld...[just took a while to figure it out] [i don't have cable so couldn't test it]

it may have been the kworld pci120 but the instructions should be same...
