Hi
I'm having problems getting GBPVR to work with my Cinergy C PCI HD card.
This is what I added to my bda.ini file:
[TerraTec Cinergy C PCI HD]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-C
FILTER_TUNER="Cinergy C PCI Digital Tuner"
FILTER_CAPTURE="Cinergy C PCI Digital Capture"
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

When I try to map channeld (scan) it fails to initialize the device (it is found when I try to add it).

Attached are my logs (filterscan and config).

regards from Norway
Are you on vista? If so, it looks like you've edited a virtual copy of bda.ini, not the real file.
I'm using Win XP SP3. (Edited c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\bda.ini)
I'm not in front of development machine, or a bda.ini file, but there is something wrong with the bda.ini section you've added. It cant find the line where you've supplied the tuner filter name, so it ends up using the default 'TechnoTrend BDA/DVB-S Tuner' filtername, which of course isnt found on your machine.

Double check you bda.ini file against the other entries.
Thanks, I redid my bda.ini-file and now it complains about not finding the "Cinergy C Capture filter".
(According to my filterscan-log the name is correct).

Any clues? (log attached)
Try reinstalling your drivers. The tuner and capture filters should have more pins than they do:
Code:
20:15:14.892    INFO    Checking KSCATEGORY_BDA_NETWORK_TUNER filters
20:15:14.892    INFO    found: Cinergy C PCI Digital Tuner
20:15:14.908    INFO     - (input)  Input0
20:15:14.908    INFO
20:15:14.908    INFO
20:15:14.908    INFO
20:15:14.908    INFO    Checking KSCATEGORY_BDA_RECEIVER_COMPONENT filters
20:15:14.908    INFO    found: Cinergy C PCI Digital Capture
20:15:14.908    INFO     - (output) MPEG2 Transport
Hmm.. I tried reinstalling the drivers (even tried an older version) and still the same pins. The card works in DVBViewer.

:confused:
This number of pins can be normal. Sometimes output pins arnt created until the input is connected.

Sorry, I dont really know. It finds all the filters and tries to connect them up, but that fail (then it tries to look for a second instances of the capture filter but fails to find one). Maybe make sure it isnt being used by any other software. Other than that you might be out of luck.
Then I think I'm out of luck. The card is not in use.
Guess I'll just pick up another DVB-C card.
What do you guys recommend? (must be HD and SD). Don't need analog.

Thanks.
The Twinhan 2033 DVB-C device I use is pretty good.
