I'm trying to setup my HVR-1600 to use QAM. I'm able to view the preview window for the digital channels and map them to the EPG but when I try to actually watch the channel in PVRX2 I get the audio but no video. Has anyone experienced this before?
I had this issue, it's a codec problem. Something got messed up along the way and my HD channels wouldn't play. I had to swap out motherboards shortly after and a fresh windows install straightened it out.
It would be related to your configured MPEG2/AC3 decoders as donschjr mentioned.
Hmmn - I have been installing a lot of video conversion tools lately. I wonder if one of them caused the problem. Is there a known good MPEG2 decoder I could 'reinstall' to get it to go?
