I don't know the specifics of the "beanbag" blasters, but yes, should work.
The blaster buds are just LEDs in moulded cases.
Things to consider,
- LEDs are polarit sensitive so you may need to swap the wires over to get it to work. The LED won't be damaged by being backwards, it just won't glow.
- Some blaster outputs already have resistors built on to them, if that is the case a second resistor at the LED may limit the current too much and stop the LED glowing.
Best bet is to try it as he has it with the resistor in, if that doesn't work turn the LED round. If that still doesn't work reduce the resistor value to 330 ohms.
