Full Version: gbpvr finds clear QAM OK, npvr don't ?

Using gb-pvr, and the ATI 650 Theater card, and XP, it can find the clear QAM channels fine.
With npvr, no matter which scan type I try (it lists 3 of them, all frequencies, signal generator and USA ATSC ch.7-51 ) I try, all it finds is ATSC channels.

Is there a workaround, or a option I am not seeing ? I don't want to look for ATSC, I want QAM.
For the device, it shows ATI BDA Digital Tuner : type : ATSC.

I can't test npvr with analog, since I don't have the needed mux. Sad

Thanks for any info on this.
Can you view the Devices screen, then post the npvr.log?

This is a case of the drivers not reporting that they support QAM. The application has a list of devices that the application to treat as QAM capable even though the drivers do indicate that is the case. I've added this device to that list for the next beta.

Cool, thanks!
