Should I be able to scan a hotel cable coming from the wall.

My Device choices are:

QAM ATICQAM Digital Tuner
DBV-T ATIDBVT Digital Tuner
ATSC > Antenna doesn't get squat here
QAM ATIBDA Digital Tuner

Any other settings in the program that might help regarding the scan?

Thanks

In theory yes. But internal hotel tv system are most likely analog, except for the more advanced which might be digital, but I don't know the cable standard for the US.

Seems to be the case as the "info" flashes analog for each channel. TV is a nice LG flatscreen with
2xHDMI and 1 component input. Too bad cable from wall doesn't seem to be passing a QAM signal here in Ann Arbor. I would like to feed back HD from my Laptop HDMI and record as well. Analog picture is terrible for the TV.
I agree with Reddwarf - most likely analog distribution in hotels. If your tuner has an analog side (it probably does), you'll need to install the Hauppauge softpvr components enable your tuner in NPVR.
