Hello!

Here is my configuration:

- Windows XP SP3 with latest patches
- NPVR v1.5.36 with latest patches
- 3 x Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T PCI
- XMLTV source for EPG .

My PC can handle recording 12 different TV shows from 3 different DVB-T MPEG2 MUX-es.
Problem is when recordins must stop, then recording service hangs and all current recordings stops.
I have to restart recording service and everything works OK until again any recording must stop which again crash recording service.

Please help.

Hi

I don't have a solution, but I might have a similar problem.

I turned on the PC yesterday and the NPVR Recording Service had crashed. I restarted it and also set the service to auto restart on failure.

Today I turned it on to find the Recording Status window blank and hung, so I closed Ntray.exe. I woke it up again but it still would now show, so I had to manually stop and restart the recording service. (So it appears I can't rely on Windows to detect a hang in the service )

I'll keep an eye on it and see if I can find a pattern.

The similarity to your setup is I also have three USB tuners.
