I had to reinstall Windows and GBPVR 1.4.7. I can get GBPVR to show up on the PCH-A100 but the screen goes black for a moment then goes to the NMT menu when I try to play a recorded video file. The video files are on the D drive, but I tried to play a video on the C drive in video library and it wouldn't play either. I tried it with the firewall and antivirus off and Simple File Sharing is on. I have the recording service set to start with the admin's username and password. I can play the videos through the NMT file browser just fine. I can't think of anything else to try.

Here's the NMTchecker output

Several things point to the Interact with Desktop option not being clicked on the GBPVR Recording Service. In the syntax check I see "Unable to connect to the remote server" and the logs have

Code:
2011-01-03 20:11:15.484    ERROR    [4]    Error starting webserver: Could not load file or assembly 'GBPVRRecordingService, Version=1.0.3529.34129, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

That fixed it after restarting the PC. If I want the recording service to start with the PC's username and password the Interact with Desktop is greyed out. Is there a way to have both? I thought that was how I had it previously.
I don't know, but since I don't recall this being a problem maybe once you have set Interact with Desktop as Local System, it is kept like that as a user? I'm guessing here though.

I had tried that but it didn't keep. I think I found what I need to do as explained in the these pages - http://www.greyware.com/software/rum/rights.asp and http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID003504
