I just ordered a PVR-150 w/remote but when looking through the forum I see that I may need some sort of IR Blaster to control my Set-top-box so that I can get past the 125 channel mark.

My cable company is Adelphia in S. Florida and they use the Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8000 box.

can someone shed some light on what I may need to get this to work?

The PVR150 (retail version) comes with a remote and IR blaster, so you should be right.

Any idea on if GB-PVR supports any HDTV capture cards?
