Hi guys, I have come accross NVPR and wanted to give it a go. I have a Gigabyte P6000 TV tuner card but when I run NVPR it shows nothing under Settings -> Devices. Does it support only some special cards or is good for general use? More precisely, is there a way to use NVPR with my Gigabyte card?
Hi mehaga and welcome.

Is this an analog card? Have you checked the wiki about getting this working?

@Steeb,

How do you feel about adding in that wiki page a link to this page http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...ugeSoftPVR ? It seems a little alone out there by itself in utilities when some people will need the components of SoftPVR if they dont have a WinTV7 install.

It is already there, but I agree it is easy to overlook.

Oh yes, to me it does!!
Yes, it is an analog device. I have read the documentation about adding an analog device and went to the Hauppage website using link you provided but was confused about which version of WinTV7 to download...

Hi mehaga,

there will only be one version of WinTV7 to download AFAIK, which will be the latest one, v2.3

The batch files on the wiki page work with v2.2 so the one you choose, 32 bit or 64 (depending on your system) will need to be edited to work with WinTV7 v2.3. Other than that follow the wiki instructions.

If your device is not listed after this have a look at further information on this thread you may need to run filtercheck and enter settings for your device manually.

steeb
Could anyone post a direct download link for WinTV7 v2.2?

I have ran FilterCheck and added the information to the AnalogDevices.xml file (NPVR still doesn't show any device under Settings->Devices...).
