While playing JPG slide show, it stopped halfway.
Also some JPG file show blank preview and can't press OK to view full screen.

.NET is claiming it is out of memory after trying to load R:\DLink-Volume2\Photos\Family\1154.jpg. Are you ever able to view that particular file? It maybe corrupt, or in some oddball format that breaks things.

Sub, I had tried viewing the single 1154.jpg file just now with nPVR and no problem at all. The slideshow somehow will crash after playing about 100 over photos. Could you try it with around 200 or more jpg files?
