After installing NPVR, I can scan, and get about 150, but none work. They worked in GBPVR, and they work in WMC. I just get a black screen. Log files are attached...

You forgot to attach the logs..... Tell us a little more about your hardware, what capturecard, OS etc.
I didn't know you had to zip the files to upload them...

The system is a Core i7 processor with 16 GB RAM, dual RAID SSDs and a 1 TB data drive. The TV card is an HVR2250.

Thanks
I guess your problems have something to with this:

2011-10-23 15:54:55.973 [DEBUG][1] Got IKsPropertySet interface

2011-10-23 15:54:56.525 [DEBUG][1] locked=1, present=1, strength=-20, quality=100 (took 31ms to check)

Am I correct when I seem to remember that there are a couple of .dll files (from the original Haupp. software) that needs to be copied to npvr's program directory?

What do you mean? You shouldnt be able to watch encrypted channels. The same was true in GBPVR.

Only the CableCard devices like Hauppauge DCR-2650 are capable of watching encrypted channels.
NPVR calls them encrypted, but all the channels work in GBPVR, WMC, and MediaPortal...
Do a scan, then zip and attach the npvr.log so I can see what it says about the channels.
