New to NPVR. love the features... now just to get it to work!

took a while to figure out how to get it to detect the channels on the channel scan.

EPG is working and showing the channel listings etc. however if i click to watch live tv the window says "please wait..." then goes to a black screen and stays there.

any clue as to what i should look at?

Probably a decoders issue. Try changing the decoders you are using. If no luck with that, the best thing would be to zip and attach your logs.

as i'm a newbie to this kind of stuff can you give me a rundown of what decoders to use in what fields? thanks for your help!
