I would like to export my reoccurring recordings, not the video. I just don't want to reprogram them. :-)
Each night it should be creating a recurring-backup.xml in your data directory, which you can reimport.

I see it contains both <ChannelOID> and <ChannelName> do both have to be accurate ?? - I ask as I'd like to import from another machine and the oid's will be different but the names mainly the same.
From memory, it only uses the <ChannelName> when trying to recreate the recordings.
Thanks for that, I'll give it a try then (some names have to be changed i.e. BBC two to BBC 2 etc). I'll get this new box running in the end
