Full Version: SD Video Playback Width Issue

Greetings all,

I'm having some trouble with SD playback width on my HTPC since I rebuilt my system a few months back and am finally getting round to working on it. It's only with SD recordings, HD are fine. The width of the SD video jitters a bit when playback starts, but ends up being about 1/4 of the width of our HD TV. I suspect this is related to the decoder selections, but I have them set the same as I did prior to the rebuild (based on a backup copy of my config.xml).

The SD recordings plays back fine on out NMTs and in XBMC, so the issue is obviously a setting in NPVR.

Any suggestions for other decoders to try?

Log files attached with example playback of SD recording "I Escaped From Devil's Island"

Thanks!

Have tried various renderers? EVR would be my first choice ... but the FSE version of VMR9 might be better on XP.
That did it! I switched the renderer from VMR9 to EVR. Thanks Graham!
