Is the 3.4.6 pre-release in closed beta or something?
First I got a message that I need to log in to view the link it, since all the hacking attempts, now, when I try to look at that link, it says I don't have access.
So, just wondering...

Yes, there is a 3.4.6 currently in private beta testing.

Where did you get a message about it? You shouldn't have seen anything mentioning it.

Ah, I know what happened. I accidentally posted the 3.4.6 release announcement there instead of the pre-release forum, so I quickly moved it a few seconds later. It must have sent you that email notification between then.
actually that "moved" stub in the announcements forum is visible to everyone, even guest users. when you moved the thread you must've missed unchecking that box.
whooooops! now everyone on here knows about it. ah. Isn't technology wonderful?
