Full Version: Missing scanned channel(analog)

I am setting my NPVR up and it seems that I am not able to scan a particular channel, say 35. I can see and watch this channel in both Windows Media Center and Hauppauge WinTV7. I have tried to rescan several times to no avail. I have tried to add the channel manually. It shows added but the tuners don't see it either in a scan or manually. I have a Hauppauge WinTV HVR 2250 installed in a Windows 8.1 enviornment. Any Suggestions?

Please do a scan and post the logs as described at http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post480931

Thanks.
Instead of scanning can you just add it to the tuner?

Martin
I did add it manually and it shows in the channel listing but it doesn't tune it in successfully, jumps to an epg screen. attached are the log files.
again Thanks
I don't see any attempt to watch live tv on an analog channel in those logs. just channel scans.

also, please make sure you say which exact channel you're talking about... you said 35 in your first post, was that the actual channel? you said it like it was an example.

I don't think it should be set as <fixed>2</fixed>

yeah, you're right, I missed that... I gave up after looking through NPVR.log and NPVR.log.1.

yep, when adding the channel it shouldn't be set to fixed frequency; that's for connecting to an external tuner like a cable box.
I did a clean install and a new scans and here are the log files. I manually added 35 (actual channel) to both analog tuners, merged them and then tried to open them. It seemed to try but then went to an EPG screen that did show channels 34 thru 39 including 35. When I manually added 35 it was set to tuner. Here is another screen shot of the scan where 35 is missing
your screenshots are too small to see anything (I think if you post them as .PNG files they'll be bigger), and you didn't include the matching NRecord.log(s) so there's nothing to see there either.
I opened the channel within Kodi using the Npvr client. It worked not too well but the channel finally did appear. I had also set a EPG for the channel.

Thanks for looking into this for me. Much Appreciated!!
