I recorded a program and it plays back fine on my computer, but when I connect an HDMI cable to my Sony TV, it starts playing but then I get numerous "scene selection changed" popups until the screen basically freezes. Recordings made with Windows Media center play OK on the TV, as well as recordings made with a USB Pinnacle stick and TV6 Center. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Plus, the Internet suggests switching off "Auto" scene select in the settings for the TV.
