Hi!

Just tried NextPVR and found out that not all my tuners can scan channels.
I attached logs of unsuccessful scanning by MyGica T230.
Where can be the problem?
In MediaPortal the tuner works perfectly.
Did you try an 'all regions' scan? Maybe the region frequency table you chose is out of date.

It's up to date.

NextPVR - NOK:

I tried other DVB-T tuners.
No one can lock DVB-T2 channels in NextPVR

That's not true. There is hundreds of people using DVB-T2 here (for example, all the users watching HD channels on UK Freeview). Maybe something quirky with your MyGica T230 drivers that require things to be done a bit differently for that device.

I meant my particular case with DVB-T2:
- MyGica T230 - NOK,
- AVerMedia Volar T2 - NOK,
- Behold TV T7: DVB-T - NOK.

The three work like a charm in MediaPortal.

Strange enough but the same hybrid Behold TV T7 above locks channels in DVB-C
MyGica T230 (Digital TV) scanning in MediaPortal:

The same with:
- AVerMedia Volar T2,
- Behold TV T7: DVB-T
I don't really remember any other Russian users in the past. Maybe there is something odd about the transport streams in that part of the world that NextPVR doesn't like.

If you've got any software that can do a full transport stream recording, and you can supply a 30 second or so .ts, I'll try scanning it here.

I don't have any thoughts about SW in Windows, which can grab full transport stream.
Sorry.
I've just switched from Ubuntu.

I tried MediaPortal.

I don't really know much about MediaPortal. It's log isn't going to tell me anything useful. If you can use it to capture a full transport stream, I'm happy to take a look at a recording to check NextPVR's scanning compatibility.
Can you advise any piece of SW for it?
MP seems not to capture the full transport stream
