Hi all,

I just recently setup nextPVR (with the help of many in this forum and LOVE it). One of the features I like is the web server so I can schedule recordings from my phone.

Because I like this feature so much, I set it up for out of home access. I have a static IP on my windows machine, forwarded port 8866 to my windows PC,..etc...etc...

Everything works. I get to the login page from outside my network, but, for some unknown reason, it will NOT accept my username and password. When I am on my LAN, it never asks for a username or password, but, from out of my house, it wont let me pass the login.

Any ideas?

There was a setting that would turn off authentication inside a defined local network. You might want to find that, an turn it off, so you can diagnose your authentication issues.
