I notice on the Settings | General screen there are various UI settings. I have UI Resolution=Auto. This is on a PC with a 1920x1080 resolution. I tend to use NPVR as a window that is roughly 1/4 of a screen (ie half the screen width, half the screen height) so I can see other windows alongside.
The quality of the text is poor (missing vertical/horizontal strokes) which gets worse as the window size is reduced and everything is scaled down.
Full-screen, the text is fine.
Notice the missing pixels in the date/time and the missing row of pixels at the bottom of the programme description "The latest news ... North East and Cumbria".
It has all the hallmarks of a high-resolution image that has been badly down-scaled in resolution, by omitting every nth pixel rather than by averaging pixels using bicubic/bilinear blending.
Is there a way to improve the text display a bit?
