I have setup my pc to download a xml file every week with updated guide data to use in nextpvr.
When i set up the channels on the channels section and point it to the xml file it works fine.
However when i update the xml file to the same file name and try to update it fails to show any guide data.
I have tried empty epg first and that does not work.
The strange part is that if i double click on any of the station names in the channels part and simply click ok, then do an update, the channel i have double clicked on now shows data.
The problem is that this not automated and I have to laboriously do this every time I download the new xml and for every channel
Is there a way to fix this, any help or suggestions would be fantastic as I am stuck how to fix this problem???
Cheers
Hit the 'update epg' button, let it complete, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.
Sure here they are::
It looks like it pulled in a bunch of listings:

If you're not seeing listings, my guess is they were all old, so you're not seeing in the TV Guide.

I'm happy to take a look at the xml file if you want.

Sure I will attach it.
The listings are from today and I download it over the last one previous i set up and as the same name in the same folder.
The channels are the same everytime and like I mentioned before, have been setup previous with nextpvr.
I am hoping that all I have to do to update is click on update once the new file has overwritten the previous.
I can upload the previous file as well if this helps.
There is no sign of errors in that log, but there is also zero known issues in NextPVR around this stuff, so I'm pretty sure it'll come down to old listings, or your date set wrong on your PC or something similar.

If you want to zip and attach the npvr.db3 and xml file, from immediately after an EPG update, I'll look check what happened.
Here is the two xml files, one the older one called tvguide-last.xml and the newest called tvguide.xml.
Cheers for your help by the way
Also attach the npvr.db3
Sorry just to add that you are right I did use a couple of xml files for a few reasons, the main one being the main xml file does not cover all the channels I use, so the remaining few I use epg collector utility to obtain the guide data...
That TVGuide-last.xml had no current listings. They were in the past, so yeah - that was likely your problem.
