I got everything looking nice with guide and channels.
But no channel will play.  After a channel scan no device-adapter cfg is created.

Is this just another stupid misteak?
I don't see any recent scan in those logs. Do you have

/var/opt/nextpvr/adapter0-QAM-channels.conf

or any conf files in that folder.

Martin
No that is the problem. /var/opt/nextpvr/adapter0-QAM-channels.conf is not created.

All of the channels appear in channels and guide.
Quote:02:45:29:656 [ERROR] Failed to get tuning params for (WRC-LX ) from /var/opt/nextpvr/adapter0-QAM-channels.conf
Can you post your logs immediately after a scan for channels? The device log will have info about the creation of this file. In those current logs, you've restarted things a couple of times since scanning, and the logs showing this have been overwritten.

Third fresh install now adater0-QAM-channel.conf is created, but only 3 entries.
If you scan with dvbv5-scan, does it only create a conf file with those same 3 entries?
dvbv5-scan does find more. Here is bit of the output:

Sorry, suddenly I can't attach files.
You need to zip attachments. Files that are too big or the wrong extension fail silently.

Martin
Just a big annoying day.

Anyway dvbv5 scan gave me a full file.
Did a new scan using the dbbv5 file.
/var/opt/nextpvr/adapter0-QAM-channels.conf has disappeared.
All the channels are found, can't watch any

I see back in January sub poste a modified DeviceHostLinux for arm64 that the poster said made a similar prob work.
