NextPVR Forums

Hi,

I am planning to move from Tvheadend to NextPVR because Tvheadend is dead.
Since it is always a big hustle to change the TV backend please answer the following question.

Is NextPVR still actively developed and supported?
Shall I post issues in the forum, or directly into the issue tracker in GitHub?

I’ve not been under the impression that TVHeadend is dead, but that’s OK. Yes, NPVR is active. You can see in the new releases area of the forum to get some sense of the activity.  Issues tend to get handled here in the forum in my experience.

Yes, NextPVR is in active development. There is new releases most months (and sometimes more than one a month), along with patches often supplied when for users to help diagnose/check fixes etc.

Issues are posted here on the forums.
