Newbie here, did a lot of reading about software, hardware before taking the plunge... Bought a MediaMVP from at CC, and a PVR-250BTV from pricewatch for about $60. Looks like that was my mistake, the BTV variant seems to be a 'Beyond TV only' card.

None of the drivers would load from Hauppauge's web site, but Snapstream had drivers that did work. GBPVR does not recognize the card... Is it possible this card will never work with GBPVR?

Anybody want to buy a cheap card? :o

might want to sell it on the beyond tv forums. Or return it if possible.

Just wanted to let anyone following this thread know that the card does work with GBPVR... You need to disable live preview mode and set the card for 'Hauppauge Roslyn'.

You can now add PVR-250BTV to the supported list!!!
