Full Version: Anyone using Omega drivers for nVidia?

I thought they only made alt drivers for ATI until today. I like they idea they may boost performance, but I wonder if there is a more important benefit to using the nVidia drivers from nVidia since I use the nVidia DVD decoders.

I'm not unhappy w/ rthe nVidia drivers, and they work great. Aside from the very occasional movement issue/bluring, I'm not wanting for much. So, this is a curisosity sitting on top of that sharp edge of the pragmatic "if it ain't broke..." and "fortune favors the bold" tweaker in me Smile

Thought I would find out if there were other takers out there.
I tried Omega drivers, and things turned for worse on my PVR machine.
Don't know what I did wrong. Sorry. I returned to Forceware 77.77 or something like that.
GGF
I trust tipstir's input, but since it's not the nividia drivers on the GB box, I'm going to heed GG's warning for now. I think the number of verisions between omega's drivers and the current nvidia ones is last arguement I need.

Thx for the feedback, both.
