Thread: EPG update using the DVB stream and some other EPG issues

    it's fixed, thanks

it's been bugging me for ages that i couldn't use the dvb epg, although i've always been too lazy to complain about it as xmltv worked nearly as well (i've missed a couple of things due to the radio times schedule info being incorrect ). but now it works perfectly! thanks

i'm also seeing a similar problem, although i'm not sure if it's exactly the same. i've posted more details here:

is there anything in the event viewer relating to the crash?

    Corrupt ZIP File

I've just installed GB-PVR and want to use the DVB EPG but it's only working for the initial channels. This patch looks like it might solve the problem but the ZIP archive appears to be corrupt when I try to open it - http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php...6&postcount=87 . Can anybody provide a working copy ?

I had problems opening it with the ZIP extract of both XP and WinRAR - though IZArc eventually worked.

I tried with the built in XP zip stuff and winzip. Both worked fine.

This is what I get when I try to extract the file with Winzip (installed the latest version specially - normally I just use whatever oldish version of Winrar I have to hand):

    Extracting to "C:\Documents and Settings\Cody\Desktop\"
Use Path: yes Overlay Files: no
    Extracting GBPVRBackendCommon.dll
    Extracting NativeUtilities.dll
    CRC check failed

    Extracting PsiParser.ax

Downloaded it twice and it was the same both times.

Don't know if the NativeUtilities.dll is important but I'm picking up more guide information than I did before the patch though I'm still missing some of the main ones. Great product BTW.
