    telnet: hm... frankly, i'm new to this, but just got something from here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=24372

    would you please have a look a the screen enclosed?
    server: p4, 1,8 ghz, win server 2003, gb-pvr 1.4.7
    cc: terratec cinergy s2 pci hd (dvb-s, bda) + technotrend TT-connect S-2400 usb (dvb-s, bda) on Astra 19,2 E
    clients: mediaMVP + laptop, vista sp2, gb-pvr 1.4.7

    That capture looks good and it looks like gbpvr should be on your tv. If you still have flicker you can play with --flicker 1 or --flicker 2 to.

    Ctrl-c will kill this mvpmc session so you try the other options.

    of course, gbpvr is on tv, screen is just flickering (especially strong with time / date on main screen and tv guide listings white on black)... no difference with flicker 1 and 2 :-(

    is there anything else i could try?

    just went from community to blue skin, and guess what, screen seems flickering MUCH LESS now this way i even tend to stay with mvpmc.bin (as i'm somehow just unable to get auto aspect ratio working correctly with dongle.bin whereas mvpmc.bin does perfectly)
