That isn't expected behaviour. The cache and the apps aren't even on the same linux partition.

For a password you add the user name and password to the share in the gbpvr.cgi file mount ... -o username=whomever, password=whatever,ro

tjb, in another thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=44120, wsmaal helped identify that another CSI app lighttpd is not currently compatible with mvpmcx2. I installed it and get "Request cannot..." messages to. Uninstalling lighttpd solved my problem.

Is this expected behavior?

Anyway, back to square one and I will try to get it working again with the share.
    Martin,
I was wrong about my attempt to clear the browser cache ended up deleting the apps from the hard disk. What happened is it appeared to set the PCH back to factory defaults, so I lost all the shares (which is what I meant to say rather than deleting apps) as well as the network setup.

However, the problem did turn out to be the browser cache (and a little operator error). I think on my first attempt to clear it, I hit Filemode and Return at the same time. I tried again later and got the prompt on the screen to clear the cache, which I did not see the first time, and it cleared up the problem. Thanks again for everyone's help.
