    TVGuide vs TVListings and Remote

Changed from the default TVGuide to the TVListings plugin. Looking for info to program my remote control to work with NextPVR. On the original TVGuide "Keyboard / Remote" mapping it shows the groups Popup is Alt-G. That has worked okay with the default TVGuide.

However the Alt-G no longer works with the TVListings plugin. Does anyone have info on which keyboard keys can be mapped to my remote to bring up that top TV Listings popup menu which are:

    "MENU - MAN-REC - CATEGORIES - CHANGE GUIDE"

I think if I can get that top menu pop up to activate then my normal remote navigation keys will work to make the selection. I just can't figure out the keyboard keys to bring that popup into focus.

Usually the 'Home' key would bring up the top menu. It should be the same with that plugin.

    Thanks Sub,

I think the problem is my keyboard. The button on my remote is set up so that the "Home" keyboard key is the "Info" button on the remote. Which should work. But my keyboard is a fancy mini-thing and the "home" key on it has to be activated with the function button.

Sorta like a laptop where a keypad is superimposed over a bunch of other keys that become the keypad when holding down the function key. I found the keyboard does indeed bring up the hidden top menu when I hold down the function key and hit the "dual purpose" left-arrow/home" key.

Windows is changing some of its keyboard functions etc. because of it's special key setup. So the "stand alone home" key doesn't physically exist and I guess that is why my remote (which is looking for that key) can't find it. I think all I have to do is change the remotes "home" macro to be a "function / left direction" sequence. Does that sound right ?

Thanks for confirming the plugin home key is the same as the default guide ... Now I gotta find the doggone usb cable for the harmony remote so I can re-program it.

If you have multiple Guides defined in TV Listings, the Yellow button on a remote or Alt + Y on a keyboard will switch to the next one.
Tuners: Ceton InfiniTV quad cable card tuner (PCIe). SD HDHR Connect Quatro Tuner (HDHR5-4US). Use only QAM on HDHR. HDPVR - for Fox owned channels.
Viewing: Usually an NMT connected via MoCA. Sometimes directly on the server below. Sometimes when I travel I use an NMT served from my laptop with a portable hard-drive.
EPG: XML from SchedulesDirect via MC2XML
    Provider: Verizon Fios
Server: Dell XPS 8700 with Windows 8.1
