    Leia client freezes on exit from live TV

    Leia client freezes on exit from live TV, with Windows 10 Pro eventually asking whether to wait or close program. Waiting for several hours seems to make no difference. This is a repeatable situation. Backend logs for latest event attached, Kodi client logs at https://paste.kodi.tv/beluguzupa.

    I modified the post because I missed the log entry for the live tv, it is confusing because Kodi doesn't look frozen at all from the web server perspective. You will need to duplicate the situation and include the matching Kodi debug log.

    Hi Martin, if Kodi replaces old logs with new every time the program restarts, I'm going to have to find another way to retrieve and upload the logs at the point of locking up - I've been using an addon to do that. Yet another trawl through a confusing wiki, I think.

    If you are using Kodi Logfile Uploader there is a setting to post the old log file.

    I found that option in the add-on, thanks.

    The thing has just locked up again with exactly the same sequence of events, ie: pressed stop, was returned to the listing and then it froze. But on this occasion it was when I had finished watching a recording rather than live TV. I am becoming very frustrated! Seriously thinking there may be a hardware problem somewhere, although the router and backend Windows event logs seem to be ok.

    I am frustrated for you. The logs don't show a freeze and show it doing everything that seems normal requesting updates etc.

    That is a Kodi thread I wouldn't know but it seems consistent with other directory calls it makes.

    Sigh.

    I've noticed that the backend, while accepting Windows updates, is still on Windows 10 1803. I'm going to force the update to 1809, although I doubt it is the issue.

    The 1809 update does not resolve it, nor does using a different router. Perhaps I should try deleting and reinstalling NPVR once I've worked out how to export any essential settings.
