Question Channel order wrong - any ideas?

I've just deleted and set up my DVB-T channels and all are in jumbled order.

I (domly) recall this happening a year or two ago but can't see any mention on the forums. Any ideas on what is going wrong?

    Thanks Paul

I forgot to mention that the reason I rebuilt the channels was because my EPG refreshes have started to display increasing numbers of (no show details) but these disappear after a manual EPG refresh.

Sometimes due to bad timing during the scan it fails to pickup the channel numbers during a scan. It often seems to be a UK user that reports this, so there may be something slightly different about the timing used there. It can usually be fixed by deleting the channels and rescanning.

If you're getting (no show details) gaps, you can increase the time it spends looking for the EPG on each frequency. You can change this in the Advanced DVB EPG Settings.

Thanks for the ideas. I deleted all channels and recreated. This made no difference. I also repeated this after a start/stop of NextPVR service. Also no difference. Channels are loaded Ok but order is still incorrect.

I also increased the he time it spends looking for the EPG on each frequency to 90 seconds. First auto scan was successful but the (no show details) tend to appear after the auto-overnight scan so time will tell if this has succeeded.

If you want to post the logs showing a scan, I'll check if it's seeing the LCN (channel numbers) in the stream.

It does look like it's finding most of the channel numbers.

When you scanned, did you have an empty database, or were there already channels with some of those numbers?

For this test scan I deleted my DVB tuners and IPTV feed, deleted all logs, and then did a fresh scan.

Does anyone have any more ideas on this issue? My channel numbers are still random.

Have you adjusted the "Unattended Sleep Timeout"? - Windows 10 goes back to sleep after 2mins if it wakes up on it's own - I had to set mine to 18 minutes.
You can use the attached reg file to add the setting to advanced power options/sleep.

You could set them Manually in the Settings / Channels / Detail Menu - I do when they don't behave.

It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives
