What can prevent the on screen display from working? I can't seem to get any OSD functions to appear such as miniguide. What other tests can I run? Is it a codec issue? Clicked on a wrong button in config? Is it a video card limitation?

I've been playing with many PVR apps over the past 3-4 months. Is my system just messed up from all the apps? I was thinking of formating and starting over.

See components in signature. I use Cyberlink PowerDVD5 for mpeg2 decoding.

The Cyberlink decoder is not compatible with VMR unless you add some registry settings. Google for "Cyberlink EnableVMR9" and it should turn up something.

Thanks, google pointed me to another post here. It works great now. I'll have to look at your installation instructions, but is there a prefered decoder? Other 3rd party software recommended requirements?

Also, why are posts in the support forum only here for 1-2 day? Good thing I had my browser leaft open from before, because this post wasn't visable anymore.

I just recommend people try a few and use the one that looks best to them.

Every post ever made is still there. If you look at the bottom of the page there is a 'Display Options' box. You've probably got the 'last day' or 'last 2 days' option selected.
