When I initiate timeshift TV I loose the OSD. When in normal TV mode I can see both the popup description at the bottom of the screen and the mini guide, but in Timeshift mode I dn't get either. I'm using the Firefly remote and I'm using the "INFO/Back Tab" button to show the popup description (ctrl-b i think), and the "OPTION/Tab" button for the mini guide.

Maybe you're trying to use Cyberlink decoder with VMR? This combination will result in no OSD unless you add some Cyberlink registry settings.

Well, I had it set as System Default. The only video decoder options I have are System Default, Intervideo, and Cyberlink. I tried setting it to intervideo and LiveTV wouldn't even start. I switched it back to Default and so far it appears to be working. Thank you.

I have another question. Is there a way to put the start and stop time of the TV programme on the pop-up description?

What popup are you talking about? The programme popup in the TV Guide shows the start/stop times.
