Hallo

The EPG Scanning is a Memory Eater!
For any Scanning its need more and more Memory, Please check
the Scanning-Programm!

I Have more than 30 Channels and when I place 512 MB Memory in my System, scannig hang with an Error (one error from config exe and one from drwatson!)
And when config.exe comes at more than 63.000k the cpu-load go to 100%
and then comes the error.

Cant tell you too much really. The DVB EPG stuff was only introduced very recently, and is still a bit buggy and slow. I've got some plans for improvements, but havnt had time to do them yet. Hopefully it'll work better for you when I have a chance to make these changes.

why is that my EPG UPDATE doesn't work? I get the message starting BDA device, after that starting scanning and all the time found 0 shows so far.
I can view the channel.

It doesnt matter that the channel names are different. You resolve which channels are which when you click the 'Map digital channels to EPG channels' button.

Best to recreate you capture source though, rather than switching it from using the DVB EPG to XMLTV, as this is likely to cause some difficulties.
