Awesome! I don't have to figure this out now..
![]() BTW, if no one has seen it yet.. I just purchased an external 4GB Hard Drive for my Sony PSP. It basically is a memory stick duo to IDE/CF adapater, there is a 4GB micro drive in it. I also got the x2 battery so I have about 9 hours of power (w/o doing anything). It actually makes the PSP easy to hold now, I must admit. Looks like the kit is $179 USD from Lik-sang.com, I picked it up here in the states at Best Buy for $229. http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?categor...ts_id=7825

Forget what I said. After extensive testing the 4GB HDD for the PSP is not very good. Of course I knew a HDD is slower than flash memory, and this was very clear when testing audio more so than video.
On another note, Sub, the ffmpeg statements you have for testing on page 2 of this topic worked perfectly for me. J

Perhaps I should revise my statement. My test was done on my copy of ffmpeg and not that one that comes with GBPVR. I will have to test that.

I get an xvidcore.ddl error when I use the GBPVR version, probably because I don't have th XviD codec installed. The ffmpeg I have that works supports PSP, I guess my next step is to try and crop out letterbox movies to get even better picture quality and display on the whole screen on the PSP. I've gone through all the display settings. And I have read in many places, if I remove the black bars I can use the bitrate to get better pics.. so off I go
