Hi. I have the audio problem. This is mentioned here.http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=9536&page=2

Problem is I can delete the registry value "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\devnz\LastVolume" but it comes back again spoiling the sound again. Is there something I can disable to stop it creating this key?

Cheers, Chris.

Deleting is only to reset it...it's supposed to be there. I believe sub said he has a fix for this in the works.

Maybe you could get the vol where you want it, exit, and then copy that key. You could then write a bat file to add it, and then run GB. In theory, it should give you that good level on each load.

Hi Mate. Problem is once I touch the volume control then the value is written to the registry. The volume will go down but not up. This is cuasing major drama's in the WAF department. I love some of the new things in this release though. Chris.

sub has found out the bug with your (our) Hauppauge Remote-Control. He said, that he'll fix this in the next Realease.

So wait a little bit, sub seems to be very busy now.

The vol problem looks like a known issue.

The registry value separate, and is always going to be there. It's there so GB knows what the vol was when you last used GB (on open/close). It's always going to come back, and it always has.

@capone

Of course, you're right. But the problem is the following:

1st the Problem with the Volume that will lower with the Remote-Control
2nd the Problem with the Registry-Setting

The User starts now GB-PVR and "lowers" the Volume with the Remote. This setting will be saved, and after next GB-PVR start the Volume is like 0.

The solution with the .bat file is a good workaround, but only for users which don't have the probs with the Volume-Bug.
