favorites

i have no idea how to go about writing plugins, or i'd start working on this now.

the idea stems from the actual set-top cable box my girlfriend has at her apartment. it has a 'favorites' button, that just cycles through user-defined favorite channels. on the same note, it would be cool to be able to tell gbpvr what my favorite shows are, and have a menu option to see upcoming favorite shows. (i think tivo has this, but i've never actually used a tivo brand box)

it would also be neat to be able to filter the guide to only show favorite channels.

For most of what you want to do you can use XGuide to create a Favorite's channel listing for each person that uses the system. This way you only list the channels you want.
